How I treat Acne/Breakouts.
Hey guys, so I wanted to share with you how I treat any breakouts/acne of my face. I don't have perfect and clear skin *sigh* and sometimes I get a few spots or a hell of a lot of spots, mainly on my forehead area BUT I have found the perfect way to tackle them! I have done some online research and a lot of people said that lemon with honey clears their skin. This is true!! I have tried it and it works. I have had a pretty big breakout of my face recently but within just 2 days of putting lemon on my face it works!
So, I don't use honey because I feel like it weakens the lemon juice which to me does the biggest job at killing off the spots, honey is only there to sooth the skin and give it a nice tone/colour. So, what I've been doing is, instead of using lemon juice and use a fresh whole lemon cut it into slices and dip it into sugar, then I rub it onto my problem areas. The sugar acts as a natural exfoliator. Those two combined leaves my skin feeling fresh and silky smooth. At the moment I do this every night and afterwards I tone and clean my face with the NO.7 soft&soothed Gentle Cleanser.

I do this to get off any excess/left over lemon and this also acts as a moisturizer because after exfoliating my skin with lemon and sugar my face feels very gentle and dry so applying this afterwards with cotton pads soothes it and moisturizes it.

This, I only do at night because I feel like the lemon acts on my skin in the night and when I wake up in the morning believe it or not i see a reasonable difference, my skin looks lighter, the redness around my spots dissapears and my skin feels soft and moisturized.

However in the morning I like to wash my face with this Neutrogena scrub. This feels amazing and fresh on my skin and the smell of this is lovely. It wakes me up in the morning but I feel like it cleans my skin thoroughly and afterwards my makeup application is so much smoother. This contains exfoliating granules but they're not too thick so this scrub isn't harsh on your face.

I hope I have given some of you ideas as to how you can tackle those spots, breakouts, acne. This definitely works for me and I hope for those of you who try it it works for you too!

Avon's Oil Control Powder.
Powder in the packaging.

This is the Avon Oil Control Powder that I swear by. This powder definitely does what it claims. It stops an oily face! (Round of applause please). It has took me forever to find a powder that not only matches my face BUT stops it from getting oily throughout the day.
I order this powder from their monthly catalogue which you can find in your local boots (i think) or you can order it online. This powder retails at £2.50 however the prices range depending on the month, strange right?! This is my second time purchasing this and it does not disappoint! Both times I have paid £2.50 so I believe that is the fixed price point.

It comes with a sponge applicator.

An oily face has always been a problem with me, I always have to powder my face throughout the day which means it gets cakey, and who wants an oily         face? Anybody? Didn't think so, it's not a good look       ladies. I use this powder on top of my foundation (currently Iam loving the FIT- Maybelline New York in the shade 220) and of course I have to powder throughout the day but the buildup isn't visible and my skin looks nice and healthy.

I definitely recommend this powder, and if you guys have any suggestions to other powders that keep you looking nice and matte throughout the day please let me know, comment down below.

Im in the shade 'medium'.

Im in the shade 'medium' and I believe the powder comes in two shades; fair&medium but Iam not 100% certain.

M.A.C- Antonio Lopez eye palette.
Hey guys, today's post is on the eye shadow palette by M.A.C from the Antonio Lopez collection. The colors in that palette are beautiful. There are 6 colors and they are all shimmery. There are no nudes or mattes. The palette is very daring but at the same time very appropriate for fall/autumn. I am in love with it, the looks you can do with this palette are endless.
Even the packaging of this palette and the design is so adventurous I totally think it reflects the colors inside.
Top three from left to right are: sex&disco, colourful life, fresh water. The three bottom from left to right are: night train, sketchbook, fashion legend.
I personally love sketchbook, I find it compliments my green eyes and I can wear it lightly in the day or layer up and make it smoky and dark if Im going out.

The pigmentation of this palette is average. Although the colours are dark they are not as pigmented as I would have liked them to be. I definitely recommend using a primer before applying or I have found that putting concealer on my eye lid works wonders and the shadows come out looking more darker than ever.

Any particular palettes you guys recommend?
